ISSUES AND PROBLEMSDrainage SystemBased on our observations at the study area , along Jalan Pantai Bersih, we found the drainage problem. Based on the pictures taken, drains at the study area have litter and sand. This caused the water can not flow smoothly.

SocialBased on our interview with one of the policeman of Pondok.Polis Bagan Ajam, he said there are a lot of crime on motorcycles theft and drug in the area of Jalan Pantai Bersih.

GarbageBased on our observations at the study area and our interview with Head of JKKK Bagan Ajam, the garbage are not properly disposed into the trash. Besides, problem of smell pollution (Garbage are not collected when the trash is full with garbage)

BACKGROUND :

Originally, Pantai Bersih was a fisherman village which opened in year 1982.

Flat of Taman Tun Dr.Awang and Flat Pantai Bersih was built to support population growth of Pantai Bersih.

Accordingly to the head of JKKK Pantai Bersih, told be that the place was really clean, 20 years ago . That's why it was named as Pantai Bersih.

The coast of Pantai Bersih, while not the cleanest still, is certainly much improved to before. Palm trees have been replanted, especially near the expressway rest stop. Coastal fisherman is out on the coast doing their thing with nets.

Generally,Pantai Bersih is a settlement areas of Malay people.
