Installation Instructions
1. Remove OEM front fender/fork guard assembly , reflector cover and set aside. These two items will not be reused in the
installation.

2. While removing the fender you will need to locate (4) OEM M6 allen screws and (1) brake like retainer clip. Set these two
items aside, they will be reused in the installation. See images below.

3. Brake line removal and installation. There are two OEM black front brake lines on the bike. Identify the brake line that
loops over the wheel and connects the two front calipers. Remove this brake line, this brake line will not be re-used in the
installation of this kit. Be prepared to capture the brake fluid that will drain from the lines.
4. Remove the anti-lock brake senor line from the LH caliper (do not lose this bolt, it is a special purpose bolt for the anit-lock
brake sensor). See Image #1
5. Locate the supplied red Tusk Brake line and four brass brake line washers. There is a banjo fitting on each end of the brake
line, identify the banjo fitting that has a sharper bend, this end will be installed onto the right brake caliper. Install one of
the brass washers on each side and be sure to route the line as shown in image #2 below.

6. Route the red Tusk brake line behind the forks and down to the left side caliper. Route the OEM feed brake line and anti-
lock brake sensor cable through the forks as shown in image #3 below.

7. Locate the other two supplied brass washers and install the red Tusk brake line and the OEM brake line in the order shown
in image #4. You will be required to re-use one of the OEM brass washers in this step

8. Next remove the (4) lower triple clamp bolts (2) LH & (2)RH. These bolts will be reused in the next step. See image #5
9. Locate the supplied fender mounting bracket and install to the lower triple clamp using the OEM bolts and loosely tighten.

10. Next install (2) of the (5)supplied cushioned brake line P clamps as on the back side of the fender mounting bracket as
shown in image #6. Adjust the brake line so that you have equal amounts on each side of the forks and tighten the two P
clamp bolts.

11. Locate the previously removed brake line retainer and install it on the front side of the Tusk fender mounting bracket using
one of the supplied M6 x 10mm hex bolts as shown in image #7. (Image is taken with part removed from bike for instruc-
tional purpose only) Route brake line and anti lock cable through retainer as shown in image #10.
12. Next locate the supplied (2) plastic fork guards, (2) fork guard brackets and (6) M6 shoulder bolts and (4) OEM allen screws.
Install the LH fork guard and bracket onto the LH fork as shown in image #8. At this time you will route the anti-lock brake
line and install as shown in image #8. Repeat steps for RH side fork guard.
13. Using supplied 4” zip ties, tie the brake lines and anti lock cables together as shown in image #9.

14. Next install the Acerbis front fender using the supplied (4) M6 x 20mm hex bolts and the (4) fender washers. Adjust for
best fit and tighten. See image #11.
15. Tighten lower triple clamp bolts. Adjust fender for optimal angle and tighten all four triple clamp bolts to factory specs.

16. Caution do not forget to bleed brakes!! Refer to owners manual for the proper procedure to
bleed brake lines.
17. Test clearance and movement of all cables, brake lines and fender. Turn your bars full left and
full right to insure adequate clearance. Make necessary adjustments.
18. Sit on your bike and collapse forks up and down to insure adequate clearance of all installed
products. Make necessary adjustments.
19. For the first few rides check routing of all installed items for proper operation. Make necessary
adjustments.
