INTRODUCTION Multimedia Streaming media VOD VOVO
VCR Oriented Scalability Flexibility
Short latency
VOD USING PEER TO PEER NETWORK
An effective content distribution scheme
Existing system
Random access
Disadvantages:
More buffering time will takes when video is Played
A lot of effort has gone into optimizing the distribution of
large video files
The Major problems faced frequently by users in VOD
streaming is a long waiting time for video files to load
Supporting schemes and Techniques
1. Batching and Patching Technique
2. Peer to Peer video streaming scheme:
Cont..
3. Cache and Relay Technique
This scheme should be able to support a dynamic network
It also offer a more efficient approach to support the VCR operations
To avoid the long start-up delay, “cache and relay” technique is used
PROPOSED SYSTEM
In NCECD,Videos are divided into no of Segments and
stored at peers local storage in a distributed manner
Client one can pick any server without additional searches
A network coding equivalent content distribution scheme is used to decrease server stress
Video Transmission using NCECD
Interleaving Distribution of Segments
Advantages
Video files are divided into number of
segments and distributed in effective manner
Loading time and buffering time will be reduced, Server
offline problem also solved
Server Load balancing problems will be solved
• Admin It receives the request from clients and
processes it, sends the requested video
corresponding to client bandwidth.
• Client It send the request to the server, request
contains requested file, available bandwidth
of client and receives the video based on its
available bandwidth.
Modules
Conclusion
The proposed navel data distribution scheme called NCECD to
provide interactive VOD services in a P2P network
It applies network coding technology generating several encoded
blocks.
The Streaming quality is reasonably good with asynchronous
request & frequent VCR Operations
