The Malaysia Internet Exchange ("MyIX") was established in2006 by the Government of Malaysia and the MalaysianCommunications and Multimedia Commission ("MCMC"), inpartnership with 16 ISP (Internet Service Providers) to operateMalaysia’s first neutral Internet Exchange ("IX"). MyIX is one ofregional largest non-profit IX operated & managed by thelocal ISP consortium. Currently hosting 98 memberscomprises of local ISP, foreign ISP, domestic & internationalcontent providers exchanging more than 350Gbps of traffic.

The Malaysia Network Operators Group (MyNOG) is aninitiative to bring together network operators in Malaysia toencourage sharing of knowledge, learning and co-operationamong fellow counterparts. The main objective is to build aforum to discuss operational issues and technologies ofinterest among the network operators in Malaysia.
