Renovation of the 30,000 SF South Concourse into a food hall will improve the station experience by providing a diverse mix of dining options ‐ cafés, restaurants, and convenience dining.
The food hall is envisioned to be as multi‐dimensional “living room” space welcoming visitors to the station and providing a curated Philadelphia experience that highlights local foods and culture.

2 North Concourse Expansion
The future development of the North Concourse would provide expansion opportunities to accommodate increases in future ridership from expanded high speed rail service in 2021.
The concourse would repurpose the current valet parking garage into a value enhancing space that would provide customers with modern amenities and retail selections, improving the station experience.

1 South Concourse Renovation
The West Underground Concourse expansion project creates a direct, safe, and easy to navigate pedestrian path between 30th Street Station and SEPTA’s Subway/Trolley Station.
The concourse expansion would allow for the development of additional amenities and growth opportunities to complement the South Concourse program and provide access to the Station from the exterior plaza.

3 West Concourse Expansion 4 Station Plaza
The Station Plaza Concept Plan identifies the critical functions and primary uses of the plaza surrounding the station.
The new plaza will expand outdoor space and functionality in anticipation of future growth, while complimenting the future development of the North and West Concourse Expansion projects to address increased foot traffic and development west of the station.
