Versatile, f lexible and easy to grip. Joints

Patented grip profile

The metal joints of the pipe racking system by G.S ACE have a special, patented design with a pyramid-shaped grip structure on the contact surfaces (see illustration). As a result they hold all pipes firmly in position; in the case of coated pipes grip is even increased by a further 30%.

An additional innovation is the markings on the outside of the joints to indicate maximum and minimum depth of insert, thus facilitating work with the joints.

Surfaces

BK: black coating, chrome-free Ni: Ni: nickel plating, chrome-free, for ELF use

WZ: white zinc plating containing trivalent chromium

Ordering information

Ordering information

● All components may be ordered as packing units or in fixed numbers.

Adhesive joints

Plastic joints can be stuck in order to maintain permanent and stable connections.

● Ensure that surfaces to be stuck are clean – the pipe end as well as the inner surface of the joint.

● Apply adhesive evenly. ensuring that no adhesive is pressed out, since the adhesive will dissolve the pipe’s plastic sleeve and the plastic joints.

● Leave to harden for at least 10 to 15 minutes. After 24 hours (at room temperature) the connection will have hardened by around 80%.
