Never let the difference between smilies and frownies be larger than 3 points. If you reward too much, your students will lose
motivation. If you punish too much, they will quit trying.

totally focus your class, you say “hands and eyes.”
Your class repeats “hands and eyes”, folds their hands and stares at you.

Mirrors is one of WBT’s simplest and most powerful techniques.
You say “mirrors” and your students respond “mirrors.”
They then pick up their hands ready to mimic your gestures.
You say “mirrors and words” and your students respond “mirrors and words,” ready to mimic your gestures and repeat your words.
