Why a Tire Pressure Measurement System (TPMS)?
®
A case study * ®
Before installation of FleetTPMS
28 flat tires!
After installation of FleetTPMS
1 flat tire
* Real data averaged for 3 fleets in southern France, approx. 100 Trucks (800 tires) each. Checked by Euromaster.
% of tires
Deviation from nominal pressure
Do some math… ®
Approx 6-10% tire and 2% fuel saving Went down from 28 flat tires to 1 Reduction of downtime Security and prevention of accidents Environmental benefits
Competing systems...
And a new approach: FLEETTPMS®
®
Competing systems
Sensors contain Lithium batteries with a life time of 3-5 years. That is, a multiplication of expenses, risk of explosion and environmental problems.
Require the installation of a set of receivers, repeaters and a display on vehicle, about 1000 Euros per vehicle.
Must activate or reprogram the sensors with a hand held device every time you change or rotate the tires.
Rely on driver's communicating the issues to the maintenance
Valid approach for private vehicles but not for fleets

FleetTPMS® System overview
Innovative drive-over TPMS designed especially for fleets tolerant to driving conditions Batteryless sensors based on patented RFID technology eliminate battery life time problem Automatic sensor position detection - no sensor programming Internet-based user interface, configurable email alerts and reports
®
Components
Sensor Batteryless with patented RFID Technology
Easy installation on the rim with proven steel strap mount Requires no programming Measures P&T to give you the cold compensated pressure Mechanical form prevents sensor damage during mount / demount
®
Reader
High-end Digital Signal Processor for secure and robust reading Inserted antenna has no external components – can't be damaged Easy installation – GPRS Operates up to 15kmph - very tolerant to driving conditions
