Mini Mozarts is a series of music lessons where
children enjoy music-making while learning about
the rudiments of music. Classes are relaxed yet
structured so that children can learn about many of
the fun elements of music before they might formally
learn an instrument.
Music classes can benefi t your child in many ways. For the child who
might go on to learn an instrument or study voice, pre-instrumental
classes will help them to prepare and to choose what instrument to
learn. And for all children, classes are designed to engage and inspire
and they aim to encourage boys and girls to enjoy music throughout
their life.
Classes are delivered in a suppor ve environment to help build
confi dence and self-esteem. With group sizes of around eight
par cipants, children have the benefi t of group learning yet s ll
receive individual a en on.
Teaching approaches are infl uenced by the Kodaly and Dalcroze
methods, Indian konnakol and by Triona’s jazz
background. Classes are grouped according
to the child’s school class i.e. Junior
Infants, Senior Infants or First Class.
