The Emergency Department is sponsoring a non-perishable food and blanket drive to support Travelers Aid Family Services of Philadelphia, an emergency shelter located in Wed Philadelphia that helps families in need. Most families come with a very limited supply of the personal and infant care items that are important to families in their everyday lives. Needed items include:
• Diapers (assorted sizes)
• Baby wipes
• Baby shampoo
• Infant formula
• Lotion & baby oil
• Deodorant
• Soap
• Shaving cream & razors
• Shower gel & body wash
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Wash cloths & towels
• Disinfectants
• Toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Laundry detergent & bleach
• Combs, brushes & hair accessories
Families could also use gently used infant strollers and pack-n-plays.
Boxes for these items are located in the Emergency Department, Cupp lobby, and Wright-Saunders lobby. The collection will continue until Tuesday, February 26th.
