Age Limitations Pre-K (4s): Student must be four (4) years old on or before August 31 in the school year for which you are applying and must be potty-trained. Students who qualify for Kindergarten are not eligible for Title I Pre-K or 3/4 Combo. Preschool (3s) or 3/4 Combo: Student must be three (3) years old on or before August 31 in the school year for which you are applying and must be three before they start. Students must be potty-trained.
District Boundary Requirements Community Education: There are no District Boundary restrictions. Title I Pre-K : Must live within the boundaries of a Title I Elementary school in the Scottsdale Unified School District.
Deposit
For registrations before June 1, 2021: A $250 deposit, which includes the $75 non-refundable registration fee, is due at the time of completing the registration. The remainder of the first monthly block payment is due by 6/1/21.
For registrations after June 1, 2021: The $75 non-refundable registration fee along with the 1st Block payment is due at the time of initial registration.

Block payments are due by the first of the month. A $25 late fee will be applied to all accounts with outstanding balances after the due date. Students will be withdrawn from the program due to non-payment after 3 business days. There will be a $25 re-enrollment fee for students who want to re-enroll after the withdrawal date.
Preschool & Pre-K Registration Steps For pre-registrations the week of February 1-5, 2021: 1. Parents must complete the Early Learning pre-registration form
online at www.susd.org/preschool.
2. Parents will be notified before February 16, 2021 with instructions on the remaining steps to complete the registration.
For registrations on or after February 16, 2021: 1. Parents must complete the Early Learning registration form
online at www.susd.org/preschool.
2. Parents will be contacted within two business days with instructions on the remaining steps to complete the registration.
Days and Times All Community Ed and Title I Early Learning programs are full day 5 day a week programs that follow the SUSD school calendar. Actual start and end times are determined by the school, but classes typically start and dismiss 15 minutes prior to the remainder of the school.
Cost for Program Community Education:
Preschool/Pre-K = $674/ block
Gifted Pre-K = $795/ block
Virtual Pre-K = $400/ block Title I Pre-K & 3/4 Combo: There is no cost for students who meet the age and boundary requirements.
