ACOPhys: a research-focused, bi-national Master-of-Science program
The Saint-Petersburg State University, the TechnischeUniversität Ilmenau, the Universität Leipzig, and the Technische Universität München collaborate within a Russian-German Faculty for Applied and Computational Physics ACOPhys at the St. Petersburg State University.
Program languages are English, Russian, and German. Russian students will study German, German students in turn are required to learn the Russian language. Some requirements of the full Master Program may be fulfilled during a short-term stay in Germany.
The academic part of the program at the Physics Academic and Research Center of St. Petersburg State University is supplemented by research and industrial practical work in research centers and firms in Russia or Germany.
Financial support from the Russian Ministry of Education and Research, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and interested firms and organizations.
Principles of ACOPhys:(cited after the Memorandum of March 2006)
