WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
A DREAM
and
A GOAL
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
A DREAM something you want or
hope will happen
and
A GOAL Something you are willing to
sacrifice for in order to attain
WHY DON’T WE SET LONG
TERM GOALS?• I can’t see into the future
• I’m to young to make long term decisions
• I’m to busy going to school to set goals
• I don’t know what I want to be yet
• I’m partying now and will set goals later
• I am not sure what the choices are
• Things will probably change by the time I
get there
What do all of these
excuses have in common?
They make us feel better
about not making a decision,
but do not take us any
closer to setting a GOAL!
