ATEX SENSE 2000 EARLY PRE-FIRE EXPLOSION PREVENTION SYSTEM FOR ALL DRYER SYSTEMS
Atex Early CO Detection system provides the user with an early method of detecting a fire overheat condition has occurred. Using sophisticated detection equipment the system can sense small amounts of CO release signaling for manual or auto-matic response. An optional water spray system can extinguish the fire condition and prevent the potential explosion from occurring. When a suppression system is present the system can save costly false discharges from occurring

SPARK DETECTION AND SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS
ATEX Spark Detection Systems provide excellent protection against the occurrence of an explosion. By using sophisticated infra-red detection the units detect a spark or ember traveling through ductwork and release a water or agent spray extinguishing the potential of explosion development in a process vessel downstream.

QUICK SLIDINGGATE VALVE
The ATEX quick sliding gate valve provides for a positive disengagement of process components isolating the explosion progress. The unit is available in most standard versions with a unique non-pyrotechnique solenoid actuation valve option. The unit allows the operational testing in anger providing a true test of system functioning without requiring high cost recharge components. Valves without this true test feature are always subject to ware and binding that will compromise the valve without indication. The ATEX solenoid operated valve provides true assurance of system operation. More Information

VENTEX EXPLOSIONISOLATION VALVE
Ventex isolation valves provide a totally mechanical means of isolat-ing an explosion’s propagation. The units are available with optional electrical activation when used with an automatic detection system.
The cost effective units can be mechanically reset without costly replacement parts during normal operation. Maintenance can be performed by plant personnel. High cost maintenance contracts are not required. More Details

EXPLOSION DIVERTER VALVES
Thorwesten diverter valves are used to divert the flow of the explosion from other equipment in process piping. They are available in two configurations the standard unit with a rupture disc as means of pressure relief. And,
a re-closable unit that provides increased fire containment and low cost maintenance and service. The unit uses a cushioned opening which allows the it to re-close and seal off the protected area.

HRD Flame IsolationBarrier Systems
Chemical flame isolation barriers are available for the isolation of flame fronts. Pressure or optical detectors send signals to electronic control equipment.
The control unit sends a signal to each suppressor to extinguish the advancing flame front.

Q-PEx ( FLAMELESS VENTING SYSTEMS)
Bursting Discs(Standard Vents)
ATEX provides explosion vents to meet a variety of applications. The domed composite vents are made of a sandwich of ss/teflon/ss. By using this configuration the vents offer an extremely high cycle life for pressure fluctuations. The vent line includes rectangular and circular vents. Optional vents are made to meet rigid food grade applications.

Q-PEx Vent Systems withQ-Rohr Flameless Vents
The Q-PEx flameless vent system using the Q-Rohr flameless ventprovides an effective alternative to suppression systems. The Q-PEx system combines the Q-Rohr vent with a variety of isolation options to meet NFPA required local protection codes. The low maintenance systems provide a cost advantage which minimizes the operational costs of protection.

ReflExVent Panel System
ATEX ReflEx Vent Panel Systemprovides a cost effective means to meet a variety of customer design configurations. Their unique pressure control design allows pressure release modification as operating conditions change. Depending on the forces during the explosion resetting of the system can be done on a short time basis with very little cost.
