23 grantees funding a total of 76 secondary schools 18 grantees were districts and 5 were charter schools 53,666 students, 63 % free or reduced lunch, in 2011-12
Graduation rates increased by 4.2 percentage points
Dropout rates decreased by 1.2 percentage points
More than 64 counselors were hired lowering student-to-counselor ratios from 363:1 in 2010-11 to 261:1 in 2011-12.
Of the 7,612 seniors 44% completed a FAFSA, an increase of four percentage points in one year.
