Proposed iMera Special Facility

PTB Primary Temperature Radiators PriTeRa

PTB operates a series of blackbody radiators in the temperature range from -173 °C up to 3000 °C as standard sources

• for temperature radiation from -173 °C up to 3000 °C traceable either to the ITS-90 or to thermodynamic temperatures

• for spectral irradiance from 200 nm up to 2500 nm and spectral radiance from 220 nm up to 15 µm

• for the investigation and characterisation of metal(carbide) carbon eutectics

Low and Medium Temperature Facility covering the temperature range from -60 °C up to 962 °C.
