Principal’s report
Welcome back to a busy term!
Welcome to Term 4. I trust all of our families enjoyed a
lovely holiday and are ready and have re-charged their
batteries! Get set for an incredibly busy term full of
wonderful learning opportunities. Our Term 4 calendar
is attached – please keep this as a reminder of the
many events coming up.
Welcome 2018 Kinders!
Our 2018 Kindergarten students will commence their
transition program this week. On Friday we have a
special buddy session, where the children will get the
opportunity to meet their big Stage 3 buddies for next
year. Our buddy program is highly valued and greatly
loved by both the kinders and the big kids alike.
Healthy Canteen
A reminder that our new Health Canteen Menu
commences this term. A copy of the new menu was
distributed last term. A copy is also included again in
this newsletter and is available on our school website.
A reminder that help is always appreciated for canteen
assistance and cook ups.
Stage 2 Swimming Program
our Stage 2 swimming program commenced this week.
A reminder that we will be running nine sessions each
Monday – Wednesday for the first 3 weeks of this term.
The sessions will be held in the afternoons. Our school
heavily subsidises these sessions with only a $1.50 per
session cost to our families to cover pool entry.
CHORDS Choir
Our CHORDS choir will next week be performing at this
year’s festival – Monday October 16. Our students will
travel to Wagga on that day – rehearse all morning,
perform a matinee for schools, then return for their
evening extravaganza! 70 of our students were given
the opportunity to attend the matinee performance –
these places are now full. Well done to our choir – you
are sounding fantastic! A huge thank you to Mrs Davis
for the wonderful job in preparing our choir. I know
they are going to absolutely love this experience!
State Athletics
Our best wishes to Jaxson Allen who will compete in
next week’s State Athletics Carnival being held at
Homebush in Sydney. Jaxson will be competing in both
the 100 and 200 metre races. This will be the 4th
time
Jaxson has competed at state level – an outstanding
achievement! We are very proud of you Jaxson!

P&C News P&C MEETING
Our next meeting is being held on Tuesday 10
October at 6:15 pm in the staffroom (1st Tuesday of

Come along and have some input.
