I researched Thrust, Egmont, Bauer music, EMAP, Time INC, BBC, Music
magazine and Conde Nast. I chose…
Not just available in magazines; this could mean I could create a website containing magazine information.
Great success with magazines and websites. This will help me as my magazine as it wouldn’t be known, so immediate media could let their existing customers know about my magazine. However their existing customer will have a different taste in music but could spread the word on social media or to friends and family with the interest of Hip- hop music.

Why I should choose • Immediate media don’t currently supply any Hip-Hop magazines. However they
have still worked with music magazines (Top of the pop and BBC music). This will be an advantage for my magazine as they have experience and the two current supplied magazines are successful; this experience would help increase my magazines chances of success.
• Both the current magazines are not applying to the same target audience as me so it allows immediate media to start in a new market and create a new prospective on the business.
• Both my magazine and the current magazines have different target audience so this also allows Immediate media to start a new marketing area. This would bring a wider range of customers to the company which would lead to more profit.
• Currently Top of the pops target audience are aimed at young teenagers (11 to 14) and BBC music aim at 25+. My magazine is aiming at older teenagers which they currently don’t for fill the needs of, this also allows Immediate Media to focus on a new target audience which will increase their profits.
