Basic Rules for Participation • Each team must have only two participants. • A school or institution can only send a maximum of three teams. • Only the students of classes 8 to 12 are eligible to participate. • Individual participation is not allowed. Only teams representing schools or

institutions can apply.

Quiz Format It will be a general quiz with a wide range of topics. There will be two rounds for the quizzing event.

Preliminary round

This section is a repository of 30 questions from a wide range of categories. Out of 30, 6 questions are star marked.

There will be 6 sections, each having five questions from topics mentioned below:

• Current affairs • Sports • Geography and history • Entertainment • Logical and brainteasers • Science and technology

MARKING SCHEME

• +3/-1 for 24 normal questions. • 5/0 for 6 starred questions.

GENERAL RULES

• Top five teams will qualify for the final round based on the highest scores obtained. • If there is a tie, then team with maximum number of correct starred questions is

considered. • In case of any disputes, the decision taken by the quizmaster or the quiz organizers

shall be considered final. • No electronic gadgets or equipment is allowed during the preliminary round.

• Any kind of written or printed material is not allowed. • Any team found using unfair means shall be immediately disqualified.

Final Round

A dynamic quiz will be conducted. Format will be conveyed only to the qualified team.

Disclaimer • In case of ambiguity, the decision of the judges would be considered final. • If any team found misleading the organizer or using unfair means to win, organizer

reserves the right to disqualify the team at any stage of the event. • Organisers hold the right to make changes in the event structure during the event
