Dozens of full-time rabbis serve inthese communities and we support the training of rabbis andteachers for the future. Thousands of youngsters are part ofNOAM (Noar Masorti) youth movements in each continent, along with allied summer camps. Over a thousand young adultsare engaged in MAROM, the Masorti young leadership organiza-tion established throughout the world. Our Chayl Masorti PeaceCorp sends young Masorti volunteers to serve in furtheringMasorti Jewish life in communities not currently served by arabbi. The World Council provides Torah scrolls, Siddurim andHumashim to affiliated communities, and assists in the publica-tion of suitable liturgical and ideological material.
The goal of the World Council is to strengthen and supportour exisiting congregations and to provide the option of MasortiJudaism to every community in which Diaspora Jews reside.
