If you want to be a prime asset in any job market, the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the Daniels College of Business is the premier place to be. We take a holistic approach to the business of the built environment—providing a 360-degree view of a project life cycle. No other real estate program in the nation has our approach—or our ties to business.
“My experience at Daniels prepared me to lead with character and conviction. The proformas and other analysis tools used in my courses are still useful for me in my day-to-day operations. More important than knowing how to analyze potential projects, I believe that conducting yourself in an ethical manner is crucial to having a long-term, successful career in the commercial real estate industry.”
— Jake Hallauer, Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management, 2012
Vice President, Chrisland Commercial Real Estate, Inc.

In this program, I learned to thoroughly and professionally analyze markets and investment opportunities. I also gained the confidence to play in the commercial and institutional arenas. Through my experience in the DU real estate program, I developed the skills, abilities and network needed to take my career to the next level and be involved in large commercial real estate transactions.”
— Brian McDonald, Executive Master in Real Estate and Construction Management, 2008
