STEP 1: REGISTER
Go to the web browser and type in

Fill in your
e-MAIL ADDRESS and a
PASSWORD
And click on REGISTER HERE

The applicant will receive an e-mail, confirming his/her APPROVAL

STEP 2: UPDATING YOUR PROFILE
Once the CONFIRMATION E-MAIL is received, you will need to confirm your account, by
copying and pasting the link provided into your browser, or by clicking the address link

STEP 3: LOGGING IN AND ADDING PROJECTS
Click LOGIN HERE on the welcome screen to login to your dashboard
Fill in your E-MAIL ADDRESS and PASSWORD and then click SUBMIT to login
You will now be directed to MY PROJECTS. Your PROJECTS tab will be empty at this stage.
Add your first project by clicking on NEW PROJECT

To add a project, you will need the PROJECT NAME and the PROJECT DATE.
Only projects completed within the last 5 years can be included for
assessment.
Remember that, in order to complete this assessment you will be required to provide the
information for 5 different projects, one at a time, going through all the steps for each
project.
Details regarding the project assessment SCORE RANGE, as well as the
KNOWLEDGE CRITERIA that the assessment is based on, appear on this screen as well.

Once all the project details have been added, you will have access to the RPL ASSESSMENT
GUIDELINE. You can download this guideline, or read it online, depending on your web
browser.
You will need to CONFIRM that you have read the assessment guideline to proceed.
You will be required to complete 10 STEPS by filling in the HOURS SPENT in the respective
fields.
At the end of STEP 10
you will be required to CONFIRM that all the information provided is true, should be subjected
to verification and can be disqualified if found to be untrue.

The system will generate a SUMMARY of the HOURS SUBMITTED

this particular project included in the assessment.
If the project is SUBMITTED, you will receive the
ASSESSMENT GRADING, as well as the ASSESSMENT CATEGORY

Based on these outcomes, an applicant will be able to perform the process for each of the 5
projects.
The assessment will indicate areas that needs development and a re-assessment can be
done after this development.
PHASE 2: AUTHENTICATION
An applicant can only proceed to PHASE 2, once the following minimum standard are met:
The applicant will receive an invoice for payment for the AUTHENTICATION PHASE.
The actual AUTHENTICATION consists of a panel interview and assessment during which
Applicants may be required to undertake a design test/mini dissertation.
Successful applicants will be able to articulate to the next professional registration category.
Unsuccessful applicants will receive further recommendations from the panel.
