Recreational Vehicle – any motor vehicle or trailer designed or used as a travel trailer, camper, motor home, tent trailer, boat, boat trailer, camping trailer, or other similar purposes.
Residential area or Residential Lot – shall mean any area or lot occupied by residential dwellings though the area may be zoned for use other than residential.
Definitions
What is currently permitted:
• Parking, standing or storing of Recreational Vehicles is allowed on residential streets for no more than 72 hours in a 30 day period.
• Recreational Vehicles are allowed to be parked on yards, lawns, driveways and paved parking areas without exception.
• Properties zoned A-O and A-OR are exempt from these regulations
What is proposed:
• Parking, standing or storing of Recreational Vehicles would be permitted on residential streets and driveways for no more than 72 hours in a 30 day period
• Recreational Vehicles would be prohibited from being parked on the yards or lawns, including driveways.
• Recreational vehicles would be permitted on rear yards or lawn provided they are screened from public view.
• Properties zoned A-O and A-OR would remain exempt from these regulations
