The screw-type compressors in the RSF / RSKF / RSDF /RSDKF and RS-TF series come with frequency control andare designed for heavy-duty industrial applications.They are also fitted with the RENNERtronic intelligentcontrol and monitoring system.

RENNER FREQUENCY CONTROL
Major fluctuations in compressed air requirements cannot be avoided in many factories. Frequency-controlled RENNER screw compressors are based on the principle that compressed air can still be generatedcost-effectively even if requirements vary.The compressor output is adjusted to meet the actual air demand using the infinitely variable electronic speed control, thus guaranteeing maximum possiblelevels of economy. The frequency converter completewith control unit is integrated in the unit and perma-nently installed.

WITH THE FREQUENCY CONTROL THERE IS A CLEAR REDUCTION IN THE OVERALL COSTS FORCOMPRESSED AIR SUPPLY.
WHY FREQUENCY CONTROL ?
1. Energy saving: Energy consumption is reduced to aminimum in thatdemand is tailored to the specific operational requirements.
2. Low-fatigue: Minimised load on wearing parts andsystem components.➠ Low maintenance
costs and longer service life.
➠ Soft start eliminating start-up power peaks.
3. Pressure optimisation: Low discharge pressure made possible by keeping pressure band at a constant 0.2 bar.
➠ Reducing the discharge pressure by 1 bar appro-ximates to an 8% reduction in energy consumption.
4. Reduction of discharge losses: No more idle runningphases wasting power.
5. Lower power consumption leads to reduction inCO2 emissions.
COMPARISON:TOTAL COSTS AFTER FIVE YEARS.

The RSF models are fitted as standard with the intelligent RENNERtronic control and monitoring system. This optimises theireconomy of operation and guarantees the necessary safety and reliability in terms of maintaining and servicing the units.They are compatible with higher-level compressed air management systems.The RSKF prefix indicates a self-contained compressed air station. No additional outlay required to fit frequency converterand refrigeration dryer. Simply plug in and connect to the pressure system and your RENNER compressor will be a reliableand economic source of compressed air.

We have kept many seasoned RENNER design features which have stood the test of time, but the basic concept is com-pletely new and geared wholly to operational reliability and cost-effectiveness - in other words, to maximising the benefitsfor the user. The systems consist of two identical compressor units with their own drive motors and separate coolers,sharing one joint noise-insulated canopy.
The RS-TF models are fitted as standard with the intelligent RENNERtronic control and monitoring system. They also feature a basic changeover function between motors and integrated rotational direction control. Including one frequencyconverter for both motors.
