As a leading manufacturer of safety technology, we offer a wide selection of personalprotection equipment for all kinds of work and environmental conditions.
In the field of respiratory protection, we offer single-use masks or reusable versionswith filters. These provide protection against particles, gases and vapours. However, for a safe breathing air supply independent of the ambient air, Dräger full-facemasks (in combination with our self-contained and closed-circuit breathing apparatus) are the first choice.
Purifying respirators, combined with hoods and visors, have been specially developed to provide effective protection against particles. These systems areergonomically designed and offer the best possible wearer comfort and maximumsafety.
In emergency situations, when escape from the hazardous area is the only option, the Dräger Escape series is the right choice. Even untrained personnel can quicklyand easily don our escape sets. Our self-rescuers are portable and can be carriedwhilst working. Dräger compressed air escape sets are effective systems that allowthe wearer to breath safely for up to 15 minutes whilst leaving a hazardous area .
If you need a central air supply system for work involving multiple personnel in a hazardous atmosphere, our compressed air hose breathing apparatus is the idealsolution. It delivers breathing air for up to four people simultaneously. Every possibleaccessory is available for rent from cylinder reservoirs and large-scale cylinder bundlesto pressure regulators, air supply hoses and compressed air filter units.
Our Dräger chemical protection suits are designed for various working conditionsand include reusable as well as single-use suits.
We round off our assortment of personal protection equipment with our evacuationsystems. Not sure what this means? Our rescue and escape chamber have repeatedly proven themselves for work in hazardous areas, especially with blastingoperations. Whether they are used to provide a safe haven after an incident or forlonger periods until evacuation - Dräger escape chambers offer maximum protection on-site.

Dräger gas detectors have established themselves as the standard for reliablemonitoring of ambient air. Even low concentrations of hazardous substances aredetected accurately, keeping you safe while you work. For personal gas detectiondevices, the Dräger Pac series of single-gas detectors is the ideal way to ensurethat your employees are alerted to hazards in the ambient air at all times.
If you need to monitor multiple gases simultaneously, multi-gas detectors of theDräger X-am 5000 and X-am 7000 generations are the right choice. They monitorthe ambient air reliably for explosive gases and vapours such as O2, CO and H2Sand have 35 additional sensors. Thanks to specially developed accessories, measurements in confined spaces such as process towers and vats can be carriedout reliably and safely.
The Dräger PID gas detector (photo ionization detector) is ideal for detectinghighly volatile organic compounds. Thanks to its robust construction and high sensitivity it offers reliable screening of soil, water or gas accumulations in containers. It can also be used to detect leaks and carry out confined space measurements. Dräger chip measurement systems (CMS) are designed to pro-vide accurate spot measurements and to detect concentration points.
We also offer semi-stationary gas detection systems for long-term monitoring ofambient air within a facility. The Dräger X-zone 5000 is our newest product innovation. Providing a wireless safety net, it can be used with up to 25 trans-portable gas detection units to ensure reliable area monitoring. As soon as one ofthe units detects a gas it immediately transmits an alarm to each of the others. Each of the units then emit visual and audible alarms to clearly indicate theexact location of the hazardous area.

Appropriate safety equipment must be provided and used in all work areas wherethere is a potential risk of a fall. This safety equipment is designed to secure theworker to a connection point to prevent a fall, or to ensure that the fall is stoppedsecurely and as comfortably as possible. As a result, the distance of the fall is lim-ited and the impact on the body is significantly reduced.
We offer a variety of safety harnesses and fall restraint systems made by well-known manufacturers. You have the choice between safety harnesses with differ-ent connection points and side holding rings that allow workers to position them-selves whilst working at height. We also offer lanyards, karabiners and ropes indifferent lengths for ideal workplace positioning. To limit the distance of a fall andto minimise the resulting impact, our fall arresters, fall protection harnesses andsafety blocks are constantly available .
Alongside classical fall arrest devices, we can also provide a wide range of rescuesolutions and systems for controlled confined space entry in containers, towers orsilos.
Each of our fall arrest products are subjected to the most stringent testing andservicing and maintenance procedures. This ensures that you receive safe andready-to-use PPE for any application where working at height may be involved.

Clean air assured
Alongside the gas detection technology which measure concentrations in enclosedspaces, storage tanks, process towers or reactors, etc. we also offer ventilation systems to ensure a clean atmosphere that is free from poisonous gases andvapours. In addition to electrical or compressed air systems, we can also offer youthe appropriate accessories such as ducting and hoses for the supply of pneumaticair. As well as the type of unit and its operating mode, you can choose from systemswith or without Ex approval.
Our compressed air operated Venturi systems, are made from stainless steel(1.43.01) and can be used with as little as 2.5 bar operating pressure. With nomoving and rotating parts, these ventilation systems are completely maintenanceand trouble-free. They also meet the requirements of Explosion Protection Directive 94/9/EC 9ATEX Ex II 2 GD c T6.Our electrically operated Venturi systems can also be supplied as a standard oras an Ex version in accordance with Ex II 2G EEx de IIB T6. Together with standard capacity units, we can also offer high performance systems to ensureyou receive the fastest possible ventilation. In addition, these units can be usedin firefighting applications.

Infrastructure and communicationfor your construction site.
The coordination of work on a large site is made easier and more efficient withstate-of-the-art communication solutions. We offer radios, cellular phones and various accessories with special ATEX approval. In confined spaces such as tanksor towers, the optimal lighting of the workplace is essential for safe and efficientwork. Our rentable equipment includes various mobile and stationary work lightswhich have proved themselves many times over.
When working in conductive areas with limited mobility, such as in tanks or towers, the risk of electrical shock is very high. In these areas, the use of portableelectrical equipment, i.e. flashlights or electrical tools is only allowed with extra-low safety voltage. You can easily comply with defined protective measuresfor extra-low safety voltage and protective isolation, with our protective isolationtransformers, isolating transformers and lighting solutions.
Our mobile protective isolation solutions meet all the latest safety standards andare so compact that they can be set up directly outside the confined space.

Safety level monitoring is conducted by operational safety personnel.Work is observed and assessed using precise observation and standardized documentation. Hazard reports are generated as per thecustomer-specific concentrations. Based on these, Dräger definescountermeasures and guidelines for the improvement of occupationalsafety as well as project management. Once completed, the safetylevel of each individual project phase, as well as the development ofthe entire project itself, is presented in a project report.

With the IT-based additional service “gas analysis”, the gas measure-ments and analyzed values will be documented and assessed in conjunction with the client. Using these historic measurement observations (e.g. concentrations in towers), measurement strategiescan be adjusted efficiently, and measurement results can be optimized for the long-term. At the same time, SRM “gas analysis”allows the allocation of these measurements to specific cost centersor plant areas which allows a precise estimation for expenses.

Thanks to its modular construction and quick installation, the uniformDräger SRM Monitoring solution allows the monitoring of difficult-to-view hazardous areas and sensitive workplaces. This optical monitoring is conducted with a camera which transmits image signalsto the central monitoring location via radio. Monitoring of the ambientatmosphere is carried out using stationary gas measurement instruments which are connected to a transmission unit. This allowsemergency situations to be detected earlier and the necessary safetymeasures to be introduced immediately. Dräger access control, e.g.for manholes, rounds out Dräger SRM Monitoring.
