• All printers/photocopiers default to energy saving mode when not in use. • fridges and dish washers are A rated.• low energy light bulbs • All light switches have reminder notices to switch off.• Office lighting is sectional so that smaller areas can be lit• Staff reminded to switch off PC screens and hard drives at the end of the
day.• 70% of our PCs are laptops -significantly lower energy use than
desktops.• All PC screens have power save.• We now order as standard Dell Energy Efficient laptops and our servers
use Dell Smart Energy technology.• We have centralised printing, and use multifunctional devices which can
scan, print and photocopy reducing the need to power separate machines.
