The purpose of this survey was to obtain public opinions and identify transportation issues that are important
to the citizens, businesses, and officials of Rocky Mount and the surrounding areas. The results will be used in
the development of the Comprehensive Transportation Plan.
The survey was compiled by the Comprehensive Transportation Plan steering committee for the Rocky Mount
Metropolitan Planning Organization, consisting of representation from the following:
- City of Rocky Mount
- Town of Nashville
- Town of Sharpsburg
- Nash County
- Edgecombe County
- NC Department of Transportation
