“Currently, I am in my third year of the Architecture Professional Pro-gram at Iowa State University. In addition to studying architecture, I have completed the required coursework for a minor in sustain-ability. My goal for the summer of 2018 is to continue learning about the field of professional architec-ture. In my first summer as an architectural intern, I gained vital experience and comfort with the professional practice, and I aim to continuously expand on this. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and explore new practices when I work, as I feel the best way to learn is to try until you get it right, and I look at each project as an opportunity to grow as an architect.”
