Located in Santa Fe
New Mexico, this
garden center takes
in to account historic
guidelines and the
local culture. The
interior is designed
as a refuge from the
desert climate
featuring cascading
waterfalls among an
array of native
plants. The space is
intended to relate to
the native culture in
its materials from
copper to stone.
The bright and inviting
interior atmosphere
extends to the
restrooms where
repurposed tile is used
as an art statement that
reflects local color
themes. Sky lights allow
for an abundance of
natural light improving
navigation and reducing
energy cost. Low flow
toilets and a waterless
urinal lowers water use
and the entire space is
ADA compliant with
ease of access and
egress for all users. The
flooring is practical non-

Designed to encourage patrons to
remain and take refuge from the
outside elements, the Café offers a
place for all to relax. This concept
further encourages customers to
engage and interact more with the
staff and take in the full scope of
what the garden center offers in
the way of products and
merchandise. The area is flexible
with tables, chairs and stools that
may be moved in to a variety of
configurations for events such as
receptions, horticulture classes,
special gatherings and meetings.
The bar surface is blue marble
resembling native geology as are
the green stone table tops, flooring,
pendant lighting, and the stone
accent wall. A wide range of
lighting is used to enhance the
space.
The office is all about the need for
an abundance of tasks associated
with this kind of business. A large
commercial copper sink is
necessary for prepping plants and
quick clean up. The unusual angle
of the room is purposely created to
encourage thought and the large
desk countertops developed for
different work activities. A
consultation table with stacking
chairs is in place for meeting with
clients, employees and vendors. This
is a quiet area detached from the
main store to focus on business
uninterrupted. The semi transparent
panels for the water wall plus the
sky lights offer increased natural
light for improved visibility. Track
lighting is strategically placed above
work and clean up areas to best
accomplish work.

The idea behind the media room is
to transform a conventional space
that represents a distinct Art Deco
look and feel offering the
convenience of modern technology.
Adapting the interior includes a mix
of contemporary and antique
selections. Lavish and upscale is
the driving force for this high-end
residence. Every consideration was
given to the characteristics of the
style from the wide use of
geometric stained colored glass to
the extensive application of
rosewood most closely associated
with this period. Heavy geometric
molding clarifies the space and
modern media devices are available
for use but do not conflict with the
overall surroundings. A combination
of old and new.

Entertaining guests and making an
impression while flamboyantly
projecting the Art Deco style is the
motivation in this living room. A
wide use of Antiques from the
extravagant crystal chandelier to
the rosewood veneered original
grand piano transitions one to a
special treasured time. The
geometric stained glass, stainless
steel period fireplace insert and
broad use of chrome are intended
to enrich the reflection of light.
Polished marble flooring in concert
with the room features have a
glistening sparkling air. The seating
is intended to promote relaxation
and comfort. It is planned for
trouble-free configurations and
alterations based on the user
needs.

balance and imitate a more refined impression. A
large leather contemporary sofa offers comfort
and practicality for engaging guest in
conversations. Useful table tops are durable and
easy to maintain avoiding stains , scars and
scratches.

What does Egypt represent? Egypt's
past and present are in conflict but
the objective in this effort was to
reveal a strong connection with the
past and the realities of the present.
Taking this approach developed an
interior with ancient Egyptian motifs
to conservative practical furniture
selection. All of the furniture is
designed for easy configuration
changes, simplicity and durability.
The design takes into account the
decay, struggle and hardships linked
to its modern culture. This is
represented in the soiled Wall finish
and use of natural rubble stone.

Affluently contemporary
with a joining of a rich
Italian history inspires
this project. The past is
symbolized in the use of
marble, ancient frescos
and extravagant flooring.
The present is reflected
through the use of clean

colors and colorful
lighting. Banquette
seating respects a basic
need for privacy plus
style. This is an elegant
space for today that is
harmonious and calming.

the incentive behind this
concept. An abundance

an effective work place.

Kid friendly, fun, safe,
soft, quiet, damage free
are some of the terms
allied with this design
strategy. Carpeting,
acoustic ceiling panels,
cleanable wall surfaces
with basic friendly
furnishing and barrier free

users is central to this
plan. Kid colors for both
boys and girls stimulate
