agoHey Graham, great article. Two questions I have:1. Article says 2012 R2, but first step says install 2012. Is that mistake or typo? Which one is the correct one - 2012 or 2012 R2?

2. If 2012 R2 is the case, officially OpenText is not supporting it. But would it work well? We need to upgrade in 3 weeks and I really want2012 R2, but if some issue happens they won't support me and I will be in trouble. But I really want 2012 R2, but looks like will be forced touse old 2012. Any solution here? Thanks!

Graham Walsh Mod AlexGHi Alex
As of today, the latest version of Windows Server supported is 2012. OpenText. In the first feature pack for 10.6, it is planned to include support for 2012 R2, which is scheduled for sometime within thenext few months. So, officially you would have to use 2012 Server if you are upgrading in 3 weeks time. If you can hold off upgradingfor a little while longer, then you could have support for R2 with FP1.
Cheers
Graham

Graham WalshHi Alex, checking out the latest installation guide that was updated last week, there is no mention of R2. with the product management team and see if I can find out.
Supported Microsoft Windows Operating
RightFax server software is supported on the following server operating systems.
l Windows Server 2012 Enterprisel Windows Server 2012 Standardl Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64l Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard x64l Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x86 and x64l Windows Server 2008 Standard x86 and x64
Alex Garin I contacted OpenTest support and they confirmed that 2012 R2 is now fully supported. I just installed 10.6 SR1on 2012 R2, we migrate old server this weekend. What they forgot is update compatibility matrix so it is still notshowing that 2012 R2 is fully supported :-). In fact the guy from OpenTest support even did not know that SR1was released! Lot's of fun...

Graham WalshHi, did you follow the information from the RF Exchange Admin guide in Chapter 3 and does the service accounthave the correct permissions?
As an alternative to the RightFax Connector for Exchange, the RightFax Exchange Web Services (EWS)Connector is a RightFax service that handles all communications between Exchange and the RightFax server. The EWS Connector is installed on the RightFax server and is configured by using Windows Control Panel.(Works with Exchange 2010 SP2 or later only.)

junk Graham Walshwe needed cu3 for exchange 2013 to get EWS working
