Pit falls in role play method
The trainees may discount the value of their learning due
to the artificiality of the situations depicted.
Some role player participants are too timid or self-
conscious to act a role successfully.
Role playing method sometimes deteriorates into play and
fun which jeopardises the seriousness of learning. Over personalising the problem areas is another
disadvantage.
7/30/2019 Role Play Method
19/20
Role playing loses some of its effectiveness when the
audience is too large
The preparation and presentation of a role play will
demand much time from both trainer and trainee.
