for your Spanish culture bytes presentations?◦Write down 3 potential topics. How
will it be presented? With whom will you work? (it is preferred you work alone!)
Culture Bytes Scenario: The SBA or Spanish Broadcasting Association has asked
that our students create culture bytes for their Web Site and Television programming. You have been selected as top notch Spanish students for an eye for detail. They want you to create high energy pieces that they can incorporate as “commercials” or web content. The focus should be on a Spanish cultural element that interests you and a list will follow.
Target Audience: Teens and younger adults Performance: Instructional video, commercial/public service
announcement, slide show with voice over, flash video, or an animated short film (Flash Movie Maker), or live presentation (dialogue, etc.).
Presentation: Provide a brief introduction on your researched culture byte presentation(also no longer than a minute) in Spanish that details what was learned about it. (A template script will be provided later.◦ This may be done alone or you may work with a partner.◦ The best of these will be archived and used in future classes!)
You will have 6 sessions to prepare these and they will be due May 14 (dress rehearsals) and graded on May 15.
