HAPPY VALENTINE’s DAY
In front of a packed house, several area farmers who have continuously made contributions to the
regional agricultural community were honored at the annual Farmers Recognition ceremony during the
Chamber’s January luncheon. Thanks to all who provided nominations, voted, and attended.

what makes a business. We get to know our customers by name as well
as what they order. Our customers become our friends, we talk with
them about what is going on in their lives…we truly care about them.
Attitude is everything. We try to be sure our team members are trained
to be able to help when our customers need help or have a question.
It’s important they know our menu as well as our customers.
We also try to donate to just about any organization or fundraiser who
asks for help by way of coupons, food or financial. Most recently we

*The winner of this award will have 3 or more of the following qualities:

and has an attractive appearance; Employees are cheerful, neat, helpful and
knowledgeable.
SACC held its annual membership drive, named “The Amazing Race”, last
month. Teams of 2 people saturated the community to sign up new
members or pitch existing members for the 2013 calendar year. The winning
team this year was Taylor Allen of Manpower and Dwana Leible of ARC Point.
