STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT: "And Jesus said to him,’Go your way; your faith has made you well.’ And immediately he received his sight and followed Him on the way." (MARK 10:52). Faith is believing in something even though you may not be able to see it. Many people think that miracles don’t happen anymore. But, if you focus on the positive, not the negative, focus on your blessings instead of your hardships, miracles will seem common and you will see God’s active presence in your daily life.

Thank You! Ďakujem!

The purpose of The Friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is to have a visual reminder of our beloved deceased not only on spe-cial days such as birthdays and anniversaries but also throughout the entire year. On the first weekend of each month, a Mass is celebrated for the repose of the souls of The Friends of Our La-dy of Sorrows Parish. In September, around the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Mass with intention for The Friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is celebrated and a small breakfast follows. Friends who are remembered are not necessarily parish-ioners of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and membership to The Friends of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is annual. Contact the parish office for further information.

A FAMILY PERSPECTIVE BY BUD OZAR: When Jesus asked the blind man "What do you want from me?" he asked for sight. If Jesus asked you the same question, what would you say? Okay, that is your pray-er. HALLOWEEN: Masks are common at Halloween. Is your family hiding behind the mask of The Conform-ing Family and quietly blending into the culture? A Christian family is baptized to be different and to make a difference.

VOCATIONS: "Immediately he received his sight and followed Him on the way." When we ask in prayer, Jesus will give us the ability to see and follow in His way. Could this way be to accept a vocaton to the priesthood, diaconate, or consecrated life? For help in understanding your call, contact Father Christopher Luoni email him at [email protected] or call at 330-744-8451.

150TH ANNIVERSARY HUBBARD ST. PATRICK SCHOOL ALUMNI REUNION MASS AND RE-CEPTION: The festivities will begin with 4:00 PM Mass on Saturday, November 3, 2018 followed by a re-ception and tour of the school. All are welcome.
