Meditation of Pope Francis "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin", but removes the sin with the root and everything! This is the salvation of Jesus, with his love and gentleness. To hear what John the Baptist says, to give witness to Jesus as Savior, we must

grow in confidence in Jesus. Many times we have confidence in a doctor: good, because the doctor is to heal us; we have confidence in a person: the brothers and the sisters are to help us. It is good to have this human confidence between us. But we forget the confidence in the Lord: this is the key to success in life. Trust in the Lord: let us entrust our-selves to the Lord. "But, Lord, look at my life: I am in the dark, I have this difficulty, I have this sin...", everything that we have: "Look at this: I trust in you!" And this is a commitment that we have to do: trust in Him that never disappoints. Never, Never! Listen carefully, as we begin a new year of the life now: Jesus never disap-points. Ever. This is the testimony of John: Jesus, the good, the meek, ending as a lamb: killed. Without shouting. He has come to save us, to remove the sin. Mine, yours and that of the world: everything." (S.S. Francisco, 19 January 2014).

(S.S. Francisco, 19 de enero de 2014).

Did You Know? Did You Know? Help children communicate by reading between the lines When children express that something is wrong at school or with other activities, it's often the job of caregivers to read between the lines to determine what's really going on. They might say "I'm bored" and need your guidance finding a better school-life balance or engaging in more challenging academic work. Ask them to give examples and to help you understand

what is going on. If the child is still being vague, remind them that they can tell you anything and that you'll listen with an open mind. As parents and caregivers, you have the opportunity to help kids deal well with nega-tive feelings and challenges. And, if they are being mistreated in some way, keeping an open line of communication with kids will enable you to be their advocate.
