The sand cat, though not very well known, still brings new meanings to the overused word extraordinary. Living in the desert, the sand cat has many unique adaptations, like wide, padded feet and also a peculiar drinking habit. This elusive creature can only live in deserts because of these traits and is very hard to track. We hope that these obscure and adorable sand cats have stricken your heart.
