Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi, Governor of West Bengal, inaugurated the Semi-
nar, which had an illustrious list of Panelists.
Principal Mr John Andrew Bagul was awarded the certificate of Appreciation
for his contribution to education industry .
WEBFUNA highly appreciated the initiative and efforts put in by Mr Bagul,
Principal of South City International School and his institution in promoting
and disseminating knowledge and information about the principles and purposes
of the United Nations – AND WISHED TO HONOUR HIM FOR HIS
SUSTAINED CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARDS THESE OBJECTIVES.
Dear All,
The scope of academies is limitless but opportunities are less obvious. The path
beyond Class XIII is broad but many are unaware. It is our belief that students
should be aware of the opportunities available to them and consequently take
conscious decision about their future.
With this intention we encourage discussions regarding career and consequently
conduct fairs at regular intervals for students of Classes XI and XIII. Last
month, representatives from Leeds Beckett University and Nottingham Univer-
sity interacted with our students and provided information for pursuing further
education in U.K. We also organized a career guidance session by Hong Kong
polytechnic University and Bond University. The students were given an oppor-
tunity to attend a fair organized by WBFUNA.
Apart from academics we have had our proud moments at sports. Our cricket
team won ASISC chapter interschool tournament. Anjani Lohia from our
school was adjudged the best All-rounder. Our boys progress to the next round
and will be playing the national finals.
I wish to inform everyone that I was awarded a certificate of appreciation by
WBFUNA for my contribution to the education Industry.
Ms Anamika Mukherjee, my Ext. Assistant has availed of
better opportunities. She served the school with dedica-
tion and we appreciate her career enhancement. We wish
her the very best in life.
Warm regards
John Andrew Bagul

best exemplary event for a promising school. There were different committees like
SAARC, UNDP and Lok Sabha. Tanvi Sehgal of Class XI-C and I, Yashassvi Periwal
of Class XI-A went for Lok Sabha. We are allotted the minister profiles - Sushma Swaraj (MP of Vidisha) and Om Prakash Yadav (MP of Siwan)
respectively. Our agenda was Uniform Civil Code and within the two days of the committee, we discussed on each and every aspect of UCC and its
implementation. I raised two motions for discussion which were, Triple Talaq and UCC and women. At the end we made two "sense of the house",
one by the government and the parties supporting it like Shiv Sena, BJD and the other by the opposition and supporting parties.
The two days of committee were just not about a competition where someone would win but a great way to learn about the working of the Lok
Sabha.
I, as the MP of Siwan won verbal mention and am looking forward to more such conferences.
