Associate of the MonthDebra Ratliff
TJ Dining Hall / Supervisor Debra joined our Chartwells Dining Team a little over a year ago.
She worked in a lead position at Rustic Range and did a wonderful job getting it successfully on track soon after it opened this past year. Debra has now moved to TJ Dining Hall as a supervisor in the evenings. She also has worked in Catering for some of the
larger events on campus. We truly appreciate Debra’s knowledge in food service and her wonderful customer service skills.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren
A big Thanks to Debra for all of her hard work and dedication!

National Nutrition MonthNational Nutrition Month® is a nutrition education and information campaign
created annually in March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, formerly the American Dietetic Association. The campaign focuses attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day, also celebrated in March, increases awareness of registered dietitian nutritionists as the indispensable providers of food and nutrition services and recognizes RDNs for their commitment to helping people enjoy healthy lives.
HistoryInitiated in March 1973 as a week-long event, "National Nutrition Week" became
a month-long observance in 1980 in response to growing public interest in nutrition.SponsorThe Academy's mission is to promote optimal nutrition and well being for all
people by advocating for its members. With more than 70,000 members, the Academy is the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. The majority of the Academy's members are registered dietitian nutritionists and dietetic technicians, registered.
