HOW TO SUBMIT A QUOTE

This is the Customer ID issued by Vertiv Co to this specific site. Please
note that the Customer Information will auto-populate once you save the form.

If there is a specific Customer contact who is not listed as the site contact that this quote needs to be
forwarded to, then fill in these fields, otherwise, you may leave this
blank.
The TAG NUMBER is the Vertiv Co ID assigned to a piece of equipment. Enter in the tag number(s) for the unit(s) that apply to this quote. The tag numbers can be found at the bottom of the ticket detail. Please note, model and serial number are not necessary if you have a tag number. Units missing tags numbers need to be called into your Service Delivery Administrator.your Service Delivery Administrator.
Enter in the labor hours for each tag number listed.

Parts Desc – First enter in the tag number for which the part applies, and number for which the part applies, and then enter in the part description. This is a line item quote form and parts need to be broken down separately for each equipment tag listed. Be sure to enter the tag number again if there is more than one part for the piece of equipment.
Parts Qty – Enter in the number of parts related to the part description.

Parts Amt – Enter the price per part. Part totals will be calculated at the bottom of the form.
Description – Examples are technician supplies, flat rate travel/truck charges, etc.

Travel Rate/Mile – The amount charged per mile of travel.
Travel Miles – Miles to and from Customer site.
Travel Mileage Amount –Auto-calculated field, do not enter amount here.
Travel Rate/Hr – The amount charged per hour of travel.
Travel Hrs – Number of travel hours to and from Customer site.
Travel Labor Amount – Auto-calculated field, do not enter amount here.

Work Description – Enter in the description of labor, if replacing quoted parts just note “Replace quoted parts”.
Tag Number – The tag number should auto-populate for you here.

STEP 1
Print out the ticket detail for the originating ticket (the ticket you found the problem on) in your open or closed ticket queue.

A window will pop-up on the screen. Click on SPN Form Quote

Note: If there is no originating ticket, you must enter the person who requested the quote in the originator field.

Enter the tag number, if it is unknown, call *Enter in estimated labor unknown, call your Service Delivery Administrator
*Enter in estimated labor hours and hourly labor rate. *If different labor rate is required, e.g. overtime, you must enter tag number twice.
