PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! 0 my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near; Join me in glad adoration!
Praise to the Lord, who o'er all things so wondrously reigneth, Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth! Hast thou not seen how thy desires e'er have been Granted in what He ordaineth?
Praise to the Lord who with marvelous wisdom hath made thee! Decked thee with health, and with loving hand guided and stayed thee; How oft in grief hath not He brought thee relief, Spreading His wings for to share thee!
Praise to the Lord! Oh, let all that is in me adore Him! All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him! Let the Amen sound from His people again; Gladly for aye we adore Him.

0 WORSHIP THE KING
0 worship the King, all glorious above; Oh, gratefully sing His power and His love; Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days, Pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise.
Oh, tell of His might, oh, sing of His grace, Whose robe is the light, whose canopy space; His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form, And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.
Thy bountiful care what tongue can recite? It breathes in the air, it shines in the light; It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain, And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.
Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail, In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail; Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the end, Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.
THE LORD'S MY SHEPHERD
The Lord's my Shepherd, I'll not want; He makes me down to lie In pastures green; He leadeth me, the quiet waters by.
My soul He doth restore again, and me to walk doth make Within the paths of righteousness, even for His own name's sake.
My table Thou hast furnished, in presence of my foes; My head Thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life shall surely follow me; And in God's house forevermore, my dwelling place shall be.
SPEAKER The Reverend Robert L. Thune is senior pastor of Christ Community Church, Omaha, Nebraska. He has pastored this church, formerly known as The Omaha Gospel Tabernacle, since 1982. Previously, Mr. Thune pastored for several years on the West coast. He received his undergraduate degree from Biola College and his Master of Divinity degree from Talbot Theological Seminary.
In the fall of 1988, Mr. Thune was the guest speaker during a week of spiritual emphasis on the St. Paul Bible College campus. He also chaired the church division of the Investing With Vision campaign for the College. Mr. Thune grew up in Murdo, South Dakota,
where he held all-state honors in football, basketball, and track. He is married to Ruth and they have two sons.
ST. PAUL BIBLE COLLEGE
Founded in 1916, St. Paul Bible College continues to educate Christian men and women to serve the Lord in a variety of fields. The College offers education for ministries such as the pastorate, youth work, missions, school teaching, Christian education, business administration, and music. Many students secure a foundational education comprised of Bible and biblicallyintegrated general education prior to u19per division study in other majors at select colleges and universities. For every student at SPBC, regardless of major, the Bible is the primary text.
St. Paul Bible College is the midwest regional college of The Christian and Missionary Alliance and serves a diverse student body of over 500 students. These students come from several nations, 35 different states and represent 13 church denominations. Faculty members at St. Paul Bible College are known not only as scholars, but also as committed Christians interested in meeting the needs of students both in and out of the classroom. Over half of the faculty members hold earned doctorates or are in doctoral programs.
St. Paul Bible College is accredited by both the American Association of Bible Colleges and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. This accreditation status assures transferability of credit and recognition of degrees at graduate and undergraduate colleges and universities around the world.
ACADEMIC ATTIRE
The custom of wearing academic gowns and hoods dates from the twelfth century when a long gown and cowl (similar to the academic hood of today) were worn by clerics and scholars in unheated buildings. Today academic regalia signifies scholastic achievement.
Bachelors' gowns are made with pointed sleeves; Masters' gowns are made with long closed sleeves; Doctors' gowns have velvet panels down the front and velvet bars on round and open sleeves.
The size and shape of the hood distinguish the degree, a doctoral hood being the largest. The color used in the velvet border of the hood indicates the field. The colors in the lining of the hood indicate the college or university which confers the degree.
Members of the Board of Trustees wear doctoral gowns during their term of office along with the black mortarboard worn by all participants.

ALL THAT HATH LIFE AND BREATH Rene' Clausen
All that hath life and breath praise ye the Lord, Shout to the Lord, Alleluia!
Praise the Lord with joyful song, Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving, Alleluia! Praise Him!
All that hath life and breath praise ye the Lord, Sing to the Lord a new made song, Praise His name, Alleluia!
Unto Thee 0, Lord, have I made supplication, And cried unto the rock of my salvation;
But Thou hast heard my voice, and renewed my weary spirit. Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation.
0 my soul praise Him for He is thy health and salvation. -adapted from Psalm 96 & 22
KYRIE Cloninger, Smith I arr. Linn
Unworthy of your grace I come before Your face. 0 Thou sacrificial Lamb, Great Son of the Great I Am,
I bring everything I am to You. Kyrie eleison; Christe eleison; Kyrie, look with love now upon Your own
and have mercy. You bore my sin and shame that I might trust Your name.
You were and You are to be the great God of eternity. I bring every sin in me to You.
Kyrie eleison; Christe eleison.
BORN TODAY! J.P. Sweelinck
Born today! Christ the Lord! Noel! The Savior hath now appeared. Alleluia!
Earth listening hears the angels sing. For joy the archangels shout "Noel!" Just men with gladness are saying "Glory to God in the highest!" Alleluia! Noel!
Part II ONE ACCORD
Selections Will Be Chosen From The Following
W ALKIN' IN THE SPIRIT
Do you have the Spirit? Do you have the Spirit of God? It's a good, good feeling way down in your soul when you're walking in
the Spirit of God. Now Moses saw the Spirit of God.
He came down from the mountain with a smile on his face, for Moses saw the glory of God.
Now Joshua heard the Spirit of God. He blew his trumpet at Jericho and the walls came a-tumblin down.
Now David knew the Spirit of God. When he played on his harp so melodiously the evil spirits left old Saul.
Now Daniel knew the Spirit of God.
Mark Hayes
Even down in the lions' den Daniel believed and the lions' mouths were shut. Hallelujah!
GREAT IS THY FAITHFUlNESS
Great is Thy faithfulness, 0 God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee.
Chisholm-Runyan I arr. Kirkland
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not; As Thou has been Thou forever wilt be.
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above will
join with all nature in manifold witness to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided. Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside.
SEEKERS OF YOUR HEART Tunney, Darnall I arr. Hart
Until we give you first place; Until we let you begin to fill us with Your Spirit, renew us from within.
Nothing matters, nothing's gained without Your holy presence our lives are lived in vain.
Lord we want to know You; Live our lives to show You all the love we owe You. We're seekers of Your heart.
Because Your heart was broken; because You saw the need; Because You gave so freely; because of Calvary;
We can now be called Your own; Completed creations filled with You alone.
IN ONE ACCORD Tunney, Tunney I Mayfield
There's no time to spend divided, His word must be shared . So many are searching to know that He cares.
But we have been chosen as His light to shine. But we must stand united in one heart and mind .
In one accord, before the Lord, we lift our voices together. As one, we sing before our King, worshipping in one accord .
The same Spirit that chose us will give us the power to conquer the enemy this final hour.
Part III CELEBRATION!
Selections Will Be Chosen From The Following
THE ARMY OF THE LORD
Rejoice! Rejoice! Christ is in you. The Hope of glory in our hearts.
arr. Doug Holck
He lives! He lives! His breath is in you. Arise a mighty army, we arise! Now is the time for us to march upon the land,
Into our hands He will give the ground we claim. He reigns in majesty to lead us unto victory,
The world shall see that Christ is Lord. How are they increased that trouble me, Many are they that rise up against me.
Many are they that say of my soul, there is no help for Him in God! But Thou, 0 Lord, art a shield for me, my glory and the lifter of my head.
I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill . For the Lord is marching on and His army is ever strong.
And His glory shall be seen upon the land. Raise the anthem, sing the victor's song.
Praise the Lord for the battle's won. No weapon formed against us shall stand.
For the captain of the host is Jesus; We're following in His footsteps.
No foe can stand against us in the fray.
EXALT THE NAME
He walks upon the wind, He rides above the storm. Lightning flashes from His throne.
The eyes of mortal men cannot behold His form. All authority is His alone.
Holy and awesome is He. Great is His majesty.
Becker, Hauth I arr. Holck
Exalt the name of the Lord; He deserves worship from our hearts. Exalt the name of the Lord and offer up a sacrifice of praise.
Declare and exalt the Name! He rules the universe, yet hears the humble cry.
He'll bring comfort to the broken heart. The power of His word can split the earth and sky,
Yet mend the lives that sin has tom apart. The love of the Lord never ends.
Sing His praise once again!
'TIS SO SWEEf Stead I arr. Hayes
'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word . Just to rest upon His promise, just to know "thus saith the Lord".
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him o'er and o'er.
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! 0, for grace to trust Him more! 0, how sweet to trust in Jesus, just to trust His cleansing blood.
Just in simple faith to plunge me 'neath the healing cleansing flood . I'm so glad I learned to trust Him, precious Jesus, Savior, friend .
And I know that He is with me, will be with me to the end.
PRAISE YOU, I WILL PRAISE YOU Gaither, Smith I arr. Hart
If the sky and galaxies declare Your holy name, If all creation finds the words Your power to proclaim;
Then how can I articulate with words and with my days Your glory and Your majesty and live a life of praise?
Praise you, oh, Lord, I will praise You. My voice will join the chorus that all creation sings.
My Master, my Redeemer, my Savior and King. If stars can find a way to tell the glory of their King
and of the very firmament can find a way to sing; How can I keep silent then and not burst into song,
in praise of my Redeemer, who has loved me all along?
GLORIA
Gloria in excelsis Deo. Glory be unto God on high.
Peace on earth, good will to everyone. Fear not, behold I bring you good tidings of great joy.
This news shall be for everyone, everyone on earth. For unto you in the city of David, born in Bethlehem,
The Savior of all, He shall be called Jesus Christ the Lord! How shall you find this new little baby!
This shall be the sign; wrapped up in cloth, lying in a stall, You shall find the child.
After the angel delivered the message, music filled the sky. A glorious sound was heard all around, breaking through the night!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
THE LORD IS MY UGHT
Part IV
CONCERT CHOIR
The Lord is my light. The light of my life and my salvation. The Lord is my strength, the strength of my life and my salvation.
Hank Beebe
Of whom shall I be afraid? In time of trouble, He is there to comfort me. When all my hopes are dead, He lifts my head.
One thing have I desired, to behold the beauty of the Lord. I will offer gifts of joy, and with Thy grace seek Thy face.
Lord, hide not Thy face far from me, leave me not, you're my salvation. For You are my rock, the rock of my life and my salvation.
Of whom shall I be afraid? When I'm disheartened, You are there to see me through. When I can no longer stand, You take my hand.
-adapted from Psalm 27
AIN-'A THAT GOOD NEWS
I got a crown up in-a the kingdom, ain'-a that good news! I'm a-goin' lay down this worl', Goin' shoulder up-uh my cross,
Goin'-a take it home-a to my Jesus, ain'-a that good news. I got a harp in-a the Kingdom, ain'-a that good news. I got a robe in-a the Kingdom, ain'-a that good news. I got a Savior in-a the Kingdom, ain'-a that good news.
William L. Dawson
RIDE ON, KING JESUS arr. Robert De Cormier
Ride on, King Jesus, no man can a-hinder me. For He is King of kings, Lord of lords,
Jesus Christ the first and last; no man works like Him. King Jesus rides a milkwhite horse. 0, Lord, the river of Jordan He did cross.
King Jesus rides in the middle of the air. 0 Lord, He calls the saints from everywhere. Ride on, ride on, Jesus!
E'EN SO, LORD JESUS, QUICKLY COME
Peace be to you and grace from Him who freed us from our sins. Who loved us all and shed His blood that we might saved be.
Sing holy, holy to our Lord, The Lord Almighty God, Who was and is and is to come; Sing holy, holy Lord!
Rejoice in heaven all ye that dwell therein, Rejoice on earth, ye saints below,
For Christ is coming, is coming soon! E'en so, Lord Jesus, quickly come and night shall be no more;
They need no light, nor lamp nor sun, For Christ will be their all!

Music at St. Paul Bible College
Choral music at St. Paul Bible College has a long and successful heritage. With a diversity of students and musical tastes, St. Paul strives to be on the cutting edge of music performance and music ministry. Because the foundation of the entire Music Department rests on the philosophy of "excellence in all things," all music is rehearsed and performed to the glory of God.
The Concert Choir is enjoying one of its finest years in recent history. Performing a wide range of music provides the 40 members with many opportunities for expression and ministry.
Celebration! is a new group on campus this year. The 12 singers are auditioned from within the choir. Along with live instrumentation, Celebration! focuses on music that has been brought to prominence by musicians of this generation. With their upbeat sound and presence, Celebration! expresses the excitement we feel because of our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
One Accord represents St. Paul Bible College throughout the year by giving concerts throughout the College area. This ensemble will also embark on a four-week tour at the end of the semester to Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Music performed by One Accord ranges from sacred classics to hymn arrangements and youth-oriented contemporary styles. Its members are also auditioned from within the Concert Choir.
Whether majoring in music or not, St. Paul students are free to audition for participation in the Concert Choir as well as the Symphonic &nd, Be/Is of Praise, and Majestic Brass. The Music Department also offers private instruction in vocal and instrumental areas.
