Dear Members, I started competing at Ribble Valley Rid-ing Club in 1967 as part of Jo Motter-shead’s Wilpshire Riding School – the Head Girl at the time was Jean Neville who as Jean Marsden now is a well known Judge. Two years later Stuart ( my brother) and I continued to compete at Witton Park
but now with our Mother and Father in tow – Father would drive the car and trailer then once parked up sat down and read the Sunday paper. Our Mother of course would provide the picnic and made sure we were both well fed and watered . Such treasured life long memories so when I was invited to be-come your President I felt truly honoured and will always continue to support the club in any way I can. I hope you all have a very successful and happy 2020 Showing sea-son and look forward to catching up with you during the year. Nigel Hollings President RVRC

The simple and cost effective way
to repair damaged gas & electric
meter boxes
Ritherdon doors and frames are made from steel, they offer a robust re-
placement rather than more plastic and are aesthetically pleasing. There are
a range of units to fit all possible dimensions of both gas and electric units.
With knock out parts for the pipe work, there is no need to involve the utility
company, therefore, not incorporating the expense of disconnecting and
reconnecting.
As you are not touching the utilities, the fitting of a unit does not have to be
done by a qualified electrician or gas safe person and is installed within 5-15
minutes.
Do you have a meter box door hanging off, or completely non-existent?
Ritherdon have been established since 1895 and are manufacturers of
stainless steel products. Ritherdon design and manufacture a range of
steel products for both the housing and highways sectors. For the highways
there are a range of external enclosures as well as passively safe prod-
ucts. For the housing sector Ritherdon have a quick and simple solution to
repair a damaged gas or electric meter box. Ritherdon also have a range of
fire rated products providing >60 minutes protection. The repair door and
frame system, simply fits over the existing damaged meter box, no matter
whether there is a door there or not. These units are quick and easy to fit
and provide a robust and cost effective product that will last.
So from having a unit that looked in total disrepair and unsafe to safe,
durable and smart looking solution.
