Shelter NFI Cluster South Sudan Shelter-NFI Cluster SnapshotSouth Sudan | July 2017ShelterSouthSudan.org
Coordinating Humanitarian Shelter
Most of the shelter-NFI activities during July are happening in Jonglei State and in eastern counties of Upper Nile State. After weeks of logistical challenges and access restrictions to Duk and locations around Pibor, frontline teams move forward with the Shelter-NFI activities as planned. Responses in several other locations around Ayod area will be prioritized under the ICWG in coordination with other clusters. Partners are monitoring the situation around Mathieng (Longuchuk) in case immediate response is needed. Based on information from IOM's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), a majority of IDPs are crossing into Ethiopia. Additionally, shelters are being constructed and rehabilitated in Wau, UN House and Bentiu PoC sites.
