POINTY toes
One of the biggest fall 2016 shoe trends is the comeback of the pointy
toe. The pointed toe shoes look very chic, despite being a little
uncomfortable. The pointed toes appear
on everything from sequined shoes to leather pumps, Western styles to
futuristic designs.

MULTIPLEbuckled straps
2
Multiple buckled straps are one of the lovliest details on shoes come this fall. Complete with
playful patterns, effectively transitioning from the
summer months to the fall without sacrificing on the
beauty of fashionable footwear. Furthermore, instead of the
traditional buckles you can opt for the clickable designs that would make a four strapped mid-calf height partial boot quite the look to invest in.

SUEDE shoes
Lovely camel or beige suede shoes could be our favourite, especially with
addition of some laces and other details. With platform heels, the look is similar to one that existed a few years back as well. The differences from the outlet designs? The
lacing is at the front instead of the side and the
toes are pointed instead of square or round.

VELVETshoes
4
The three main materials that are in style for the fall, whether
in the clothing ensembles or the shoes, are leather, suede and luxurious velvets. The
velvet also happens to appear in rather feminine fashions,
including some gorgeous bows or kitten heels. There is pink
velvet on ballerina shoes, with double straps around the ankle
and shimmering gold heels. The fashion bloggers’ favourite?
Velvet ankle booties.

PLATFORMS
One of the top F/W 16/17 shoe trends is the use of
platforms, often towering extremely high. They
appeared on many runways and have the “Spice Girls
effect”. There are those where the platform is only at the
sole and meant to pull it up in order to balance out with the stiletto heels. They give
you height while being more comfortable than pumps, and that is something we all love
in a good platform shoe.

MID-CALFboots
6
A trend that was noticed starting from the New York Fashion Week was the mid-
calf length boots. The mid-calf boots come in some really
pretty patterns, like the mock leopard print seen at some
shows or the ones with studs and buckles. The mid-calf was the most prominent trend on
the runways after the the knee-high and thigh-high, that also reign supreme. You
just need to find the lenght that works best for you.
