Features and BenefitsWith its modular and robust design, Sivacon S4 lends itself to numerous permutations, giving engineers scope to plan every last detail required for a project.
In compartmentalised form (shown here) devices are safely located in individual compartments that also help the Sivacon S4 system achieve Arc containment to IEC 61641. Operator personal safety is paramount.
IP3X ventilation slots in panel work can be incorporated to promote efficient thermal control
Safety is paramount when it comes to door security. All door hinges and locking systems have been rigorously tested to meet and exceed the requirements of IEC/EN 61439-2

2.5mm thick galvanized steel frame parts are assembled to form a strong structure capable of resisting arduous service conditions for the lifetime of the switchboard
Internal separation, either Galvanised steel or Polycarbonate, providing robust partitioning between different internal parts of the switchboard
1.5mm thick treated steel Polyester/epoxy powder coated doors and panels fitted as standard. Hardwearing and attractive, providing a maintenance free ‘outer covering’ for the lifetime of the switchboard
The Sivacon S4 switchboard can be split into suitably sized units to facilitate ease of transport and improve access to awkward installation environments prior to final installation/assembly

Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Communications
If part of a customer’s requirement is a BIM model, then we can supply 3D information (in various electronic file types) upon request. As well as all associated data and technical submissions if required.
This information is invaluable when evaluating space and services within a building design. BIM modelling can also assist in the analysis of areas for cable routing and access to the switchboard.
The S4 switchboard can be configured to communicate with Building Management software. Metering options coupled with dynamic energy control and monitoring ensures your circuits are working at optimum efficiency.
Modbus TCP, Profibus TCP, Profinet and Ethernet possibilities.
The use of modern communication-capable circuit breakers opens up completely new possibilities in terms of start-up, parameterization, diagnostics, maintenance and operation. This allows many different ways of reducing costs and improving productivity in industrial plants, buildings and infrastructure projects.
