While I was in collegeworking on a biology de-gree,alotoftheprofessorsdenouncedGod!They toldhowevolutionwastheonlywaytothink!Thesecollegeprofessors wanted every-bodytothinkinsidethebox!I have worked in the biol-ogy field for several yearsnowandIwillconcludetheprofessorsaredoingagreatjob of keeping most biolo-gistsinsidethebox!Asforme,allIhadtodowaslookatthelifecycleofthesalm-ontoknowGodisrealandAWESOME!
Salmon spawn and layeggs in upper reaches ofrivers and streams. Theeggshatchintoalevin;then,they grow into fry around10 weeks. Then, at severalmonthsold,theyarecalledParrandthengrowintothesmoltstageat1-3yearsold.Thesmoltsheadouttosea.The smolts go through anadaptation from freshwaterto saltwater. As an adult,salmon spend 1-8 years atseauntiltheyheadbackuprivertospawn. hetripbackupriveristheneatestpartofthelifecycletome!Thesalmonheadsuprivergoingagainsttheflow!They overcome obstaclesand rapids to get back totheplacetheywerehatchedandspawntostart thepro-
cessover.Thesalmonrunismetbybearsthatrelyonsalmonforfoodtolive!Thebears know exactly whenthe salmonwill bemakingtheir run to spawn. Oncethe adult spawns, it dies!Theirdeath is important tothewatersystembecauseitaddsmuch-needednutrientsbacktothesystem. Is this all by chance? Isthisabunchofcellsactingandreactingoneachothertocreate the salmon lifecyclethatworksinperfectharmo-ny?Ithinknot!ThesalmonlifecycleisthehandyworkofourGreatCreator! A Christian can learn alot from the Salmon Run.We should never just gowith the flow!Weneed tofight to overcome all theobstacleswearefacedwith.We need to bring everlast-ing life to those that needtohearaboutit,andtoouryouth! Job 12:8-9 tellsus to “Speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?” To all the young peopleentering college, don’t al-low the professors to trapyou inside the box! Thinkoutsideofthebox!Keepinmind,mostoftheprofessorshave never worked in thereal world when it comesto what they are teachingabout!Theyonlyknowtheacademiaworld!
