Solar Power Fundamentals Mike Niehoff is a solar estimator at Blattner Company
located in Avon, MN. Blattner Company is focused on providing engineering, procurement and construction services for utility scale
wind and solar projects located throughout the United States.
Mike’s presentation will be centered around the fundamentals of solar energy. This will include the basic components of solar plant, how a
solar cell works, uses for solar technology and some basic engineering and construction principles that are used in building a solar plant.
We also will each be building a mini solar powered car!
