Spatial organization
Spatial organization
• Can be observed when components of a group are arranged non-randomly in space.
Spatial organization
• 1.- Is the capacity to situate ourselves into space in order to determine our position in relation to external references.
Spatial organization
• 2.-Is the capacity to order the different elements of a set.
• 3.-is The capacity to appreciate the relation that exists between me, the other people and the objects, considering topological, projective and metric aspects.
Useful words
• Points, lines, areas and volumes are the four geometric features with which spatial organization can be easily described.
school
Useful words
• The descriptive process of spatial organization uses concepts such as
location, distance, direction,
density, and arrangement to capture spatial relationships .
components
• 1.-spatial orientation directly associated with the perception
of the elements of the surroundingsUP

BACKFRONT
RIGHT
LEFT
components
• 2.-spatial structuration associated with the abstraction and
reasoning, using the perception and memory
Spatial relations:
• topological: -contiguity: the CLOCK is near the LAMP.-order: the children are lined up in row-interiority: the DOG IS IN the BEDROOM
• Proyective Relations:-perspectives-points of view
Spatial relations:
• Metrics:-Use of maps, scales and measures, cardinal points, angles.

Conclusions
• Architecture and Urban Planning work together in order to organize elements in space to contrast with nature organization.
• One type of organization can be perceived differently depending on the person.
• Organizing spaces depends on the scale, use of the space, and conditions of the enviroment.
