SPELLING BEE
It is time to begin preparing for our 2013 Spelling Bee, which is for 3rd and 4th grade students. If you are interested in participating, please fill in the form below and send via backpack mail to: Laurie Kennedy, c/o Robert Kennedy, Mr. Brother’s class or fill in and send back to me via e-mail (see below). The event will consist of a brief meeting to go over the rules and show everyone how the semi-final round will be conducted, as well as distributing the Word List. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 @ 8:30 am in the PVES Old Gym. The semi-final round will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 8:00 am and will be held in the 4th grade classrooms. If you make it through the semi-final round, you will participate in the final Spelling Bee to be held the evening of Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

At the event, children will have the opportunity to build both independently and as part of a team on a group project.
This event is for 3rd and 4th grade students and their families only. No drop-offs please.
Not all children who attend the event have to participate in Lego building.
This is a “build it” event. The children will not be taking their creations home with them. Also, please do not bring any Lego pieces to the event.
