NO PARKING IN DRIVER ED RANGE APRIL 6 - 18
Effective April 6 -18, the Driver Education Range will be closed to student parking. The gravel lot on the northwest corner of Red Gate Rd. and Rt. 31 will be available for parking for vehicles displaying date-appropriate (even/odd) junior parking passes. Vehicles that do not hold the appropriate junior pass, cars that are missing a pass, or cars driven by freshman or sophomore students will risk incurring disciplinary consequences, including towing at the owner's expense. Students are expected to cross Red Gate Rd. safely at the school entrance stoplight by using crosswalks. Students and families should also plan extra time in the mornings to account for the time to walk to the building from across the street. Students will not be given passes to the gravel lot during the day - it's important that students bring all of their belongings they need for the school day into school in the morning. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Deans' Office.
SCN PRESENTS SPRING MUSICAL:
Little Shop of Horrors Book by Howard Ashman
Music by Alan Menken
Lyrics by Howard Ashman
The SCN Theatre & Music Department will present their Spring Musical, LITTLE SHOP OF
HORRORS, for four performances Thursday-Saturday, April 20, 21, & 22, at 7:30 p.m. and
Sunday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m.
Based on the original 1960 film by Roger Corman and screenplay by Charles Griffith, the Off-
Broadway musical, Little Shop of Horrors, has entertained audiences since 1982. The musical
became so successful that it inspired the 1986 film starring Rick Moranis and directed by Frank
Oz.
Mushnik’s Skid Row Florists is in danger of closing until the shy and submissive floral assistant
Seymour Krelborn happens upon a very interesting plant that could save the store. As long as
Seymour continues to feed the plant, the floral shop will continue its notoriety on Skid Row.
However, there is one problem: It must be blood! As the plant begins to grow, Seymour soon
realizes the plant’s real intentions…
North’s musical production, directed by Dale Morgan, has over 30 students cast in the show, and
with all of the students working on tech and playing music in the orchestra pit, there will be over
50 students participating in this fine event! Come see one of the longest-running Off-Broadway
shows and enjoy classic numbers such as Git it (Feed Me), Be a Dentist, and Suddenly Seymour.
Please join us for Dale Morgan’s final North-directed musical.
Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for adults, and $3 for senior citizens. Tickets are available at the
box office 30 minutes before the show.
