MAKING A DIFFERENCE
IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS
Your prayers are asked for Brendan Coleman RIP, the brother of Sister Damian, who died on 1 January. Brendan, who had been ill for some time, is now at peace, and our thoughts and prayers are with Damian and the family at this difficult time.
Maire Murphy at Christmas, in
Catherine MacAuley‘s home,
with her brother Joe, Miriam
Gabriel and Máire.
In Ireland long ago 6 January used to be known as Little Christmas Day or the Women’s Christmas. So greetings to all of us!
A little bit of English Christian history; did you know Halifax, as pronounced in England long ago, means Holy Face? On the old gates of Halifax’s famous Piece Hall you can still see the face of Jesus.

Once again Pat and I went to support CAFOD in their yearly walk for those who need support overseas - those in need of water, food and medical help. The event was very well supported and it was good to see so many young people involved in helping others.
This year we had to wear vests. All to do with health and safety!

Our staff members are usually very dedicated to their work and show decorum in carrying out
their tasks, but one day in the year they let their hair down and treat us to a rendition of
Here are a few shots of what emerged and had us laughing from beginning to end.
Thanks dear Staff for the fun! - Eily May
I should be grateful if those Sisters who keep the HOUSE RECORDS in each community of St
Paul's Province would send me, as soon as possible and no later than 21 January, their annual
report on matters of historical importance for the Provincial Archives.
UNDER BY MMJ CAUSE REMIT, I should also be grateful if, DURING 2020, she and every Sister
who can, will keep a special account, and send to me, for the ARCHIVES PERTAINING TO
MOTHER MARY JOSEPH'S CAUSE, of any signs of devotion to Mother Mary Joseph (Elizabeth
Prout) amongst the people they meet; any favours received thanks to her intercession; and, of
course, ANY MIRACLES.
The information on MIRACLES must be well-authenticated, detailed and, if possible, supported
by witnesses.
I shall pass on the information to the Vice-Postulator CP and, if he supports it, he will forward it
to the Postulator General.
Many thanks, Sister Dominic Savio CP
PTO for further info….
Please note that the postal address for the community in Botswana, PO Box 1279 Gaborone, is
no longer in operation as of December 2019.
There are currently no postal addresses for Sr Botshelo and myself, so for now please make all
communication via email until further notice.
Our emails are still: [email protected] for Botshelo
[email protected] for Pulane Thank you. Pulane
Our warm good wishes and prayers go to our Sisters
in Vietnam - Mary, Nga, Quang and Vy—who will be
making their first Profession on 11th January.
May they have long, happy and fulfilled lives in the CP
Congregation.
